About Sannicolau Mare

Sannicolau Mare, named after its protector, Saint Nicholas (ro. Sfantul Nicolae), is a place chosen by God, who has placed it in the path of all of history’s troubled times, on the valley of Mures river (ro. Valea Muresului), on the European road which links Berlin and Vienna to Timisoara. Having lasted throughout history for over two millenniums, Sannicolau Mare is today a developed town in the west of Romania.
